Ah, is there a picture that portrays a typical male American sports fan more clearly than this picture right here??? Complete with the requisite salty snacks (note the Trader Joes Cheetohs to the far left), all that is missing is a good, cold rootbeer (Tom doesn't drink), which he got up to "fetch" pretty soon after this was taken.
Seriously, though. If there were any doubt that bulldogs were bred primarily to be companion dogs, this picture is definitive proof. Even the two who don't get along--Violet, and our new puppy, Phineas--temporarily put aside their differences to assume the position on the couch for the game.
And who was playing, you may ask?? Well, it just so happened that the Minnesota Golden Gophers were playing at home against the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. I'll let you guess who Tom, Phin and the girls were rooting for....... :)
That is a great photo. Love how Rosie is using Phin as a pillow. ;-) I want to squish Phin's big, fat paws. :-)

Oh my, you have 4!!! Stumbled across your blog while websearching bulldog breeders in the Twin Cities area. We've had a pair of bullies for 12 years...but lost our oldest last spring. It's been a tough year of missing him and we're all ready for another wrinkle face around the house...or maybe we need 3?!?! Anyway, happy to find you. Looking forward to lurking about. Dawn
